Pundits across the political spectrum are analyzing, dissecting, and opinionating why Mitt Romney lost the election to be President of these United States.
They are making it far too complex:
1) No tax returns. C'mon, what's with the off-shore bank accounts?
2) No plan. Magical thinking is not a plan.
3) No honesty. Etch-A-Sketch was the only truth spoken by the Romney camp.
4) Obama won. The Dem's brought game and Karl Rove brought… nothin'.
It's time to move on.

“The white establishment is now the minority,” O'Reilly said.
“And the voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff. You are going to see a tremendous Hispanic vote for President Obama. Overwhelming black vote for President Obama. And women will probably break President Obama's way. People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things?”
“The demographics are changing,” he said. “It’s not a traditional America anymore.”
No, O'Reilly. It is the tradition of Americans to question, to burn, to revolutionize all that we are.
Moving on, though. The times are a changing. Marijuana legalized for recreational use; gay marriages. Facebook was a streaming buzz for the masses on election night.
And just why is it we still have that anachronism, the electoral college. What an insult it still exists, popular vote for the legislature and indirect vote for the executive. Yeah, it's in the constitution, but so was prohibition. It's old and it's ugly and it renders the whole "for the people and by the people" nugatory and meaningless. Oops.Off topic, and I'm preaching.
